LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Dr. Jerome Quint upon the occasion of
having a monument dedicated in his honor by the New York State Police on
April 25, 2009

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and pay
tribute to those individuals within the medical field who have distin-
guished themselves through professional excellence and have made signif-
icant contributions to the quality of life of citizens in the State of
New York; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
Dr. Jerome Quint upon the occasion of having a monument dedicated in his
honor by the New York State Police at the first permanent helipad on
Route 17 on April 25, 2009; and
WHEREAS, A resident of Warwick, New York, Dr. Jerome Quint has been
practicing medicine for more than 40 years and was appointed Assistant
Division Physician for the New York State Police in 1986; and
WHEREAS, A leader in his profession and a role model of leadership to
be emulated by all, Dr. Jerome Quint has proven himself to be a great
asset to medicine and has touched thousands of lives in the region; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when individ-
uals of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our atten-
tion, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens of
the great State of New York; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is pleased to have this opportunity to
express its highest admiration for Dr. Jerome Quint and to wish him
continued success in all of his future endeavors; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Dr. Jerome Quint upon the occasion of having a monument dedi-
cated in his honor by the New York State Police on April 25, 2009; and
be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Dr. Jerome Quint.
