LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Peter Healy as he completes his distin-
guished service to the Village of Stewart Manor, New York

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend individuals who have faithfully served the citizens of their
community and the State of New York with exemplary dedication and
conscientious service, significantly improving the quality of life in
the community; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Peter Healy as he completes his service as a Trustee and Deputy Mayor of
the Village of Stewart Manor, New York; and
WHEREAS, Peter Healy has rendered faithful, conscientious and valuable
service to the Village and people of Stewart Manor for the past four
years as a member of the Village's Board of Trustees and as Deputy
Mayor; and
WHEREAS, Deeply committed to the quality of life of the citizens of
Stewart Manor and Nassau County, Peter Healy has served the Village of
Stewart Manor with great diligence and unswerving commitment, earning
the admiration, esteem, and affection of his colleagues and community,
who will gather at the Village's annual Board Meeting on April 4, 2011
to recognize and honor him for his service and to wish him well; and
WHEREAS, As he completes his service as a Trustee and Deputy Mayor of
the Village of Stewart Manor, Peter Healy leaves an indelible imprint on
the Village, its services and quality of life, and richly merits the
gratitude and appreciation of the citizens of Stewart Manor and the
recognition and commendation of this Legislative Body; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Peter Healy as he completes his service as a Trustee and Deputy
Mayor of the Village of Stewart Manor after several years of distin-
guished service to the Village and his community; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Peter Healy.
