LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Kevin J. Keane upon the occasion of his
designation as recipient of the Corporate Citizenship Award on May 10,
2011

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve the
best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration and
cannot be sufficiently extolled; and
WHEREAS, Kevin J. Keane has given not only of his time and energies
but also of his competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently
has been designated for special commendation; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Kevin J. Keane
upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of the Corporate Citi-
zenship Award by The Archbishop Stepinac High School to be celebrated at
its Inaugural Trustees Awards Reception at 42 The Restaurant in White
Plains, New York, on Tuesday, May 10, 2011; and
WHEREAS, Founded in 1948, the Archbishop Stepinac High School's
mission is to offer young men a highly competitive academic and extra-
curricular program that will prepare them for college and leadership
roles; the faculty and staff accomplish these objectives by pursuing
excellence and creating a supportive, disciplined atmosphere with a
strong sense of camaraderie and Christian values; and
WHEREAS, Kevin J. Keane of White Plains, holds a Bachelor of Science
degree in accounting from SUNY Albany and a Masters in Business Adminis-
tration in corporate finance from Pace University; he has a successful
professional career and has an unwavering commitment to his community;
and
WHEREAS, A proud member of Stepinac High School's Board of Trustees,
Kevin J. Keane also serves as the School's Treasurer; and
WHEREAS, Kevin J. Keane is Managing Partner of O'Conner, Davies, Munns
& Dobbins LLP, one of the largest accounting and consulting firms in the
New York metropolitan area; and
WHEREAS, A certified public accountant with extensive experience in
all areas of accounting and tax planning services, Kevin J. Keane
specializes in dealing with businesses and their owners, and has exten-
sive experience in mergers and acquisitions, as well as financial and
strategic planning; and
WHEREAS, Furthermore, Kevin J. Keane is the Director and Founder of
The Westchester Bank; and
WHEREAS, Kevin J. Keane has been called upon to contribute his time
and talents to countless civic and charitable endeavors and has always
given of himself unstintingly; and
WHEREAS, Active in community affairs Kevin J. Keane serves on the
Boards and Finance Committees of various not-for-profit organizations
including the Westchester Community College Foundation, Westchester
Hills Golf Club, The John A. Coleman School of the Elizabeth Seaton
Center, Lititz Watch Technicum and the Irish Arts Center; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his community service, a
period of constructive involvement, Kevin J. Keane has stood constant in
dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainty have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Kevin J. Keane upon the occasion of his designation as recipient
of the Corporate Citizenship Award on May 10, 2011; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Kevin J. Keane.
