LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Anthony L. DiMango, D.D.S. upon the
occasion of his designation as recipient of the Physician Award by Luth-
eran HealthCare

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize that the
quality and character of life in the communities across New York State
are reflective of the concerned and dedicated efforts of those organiza-
tions and individuals who would devote themselves to the welfare of the
community and its citizenry; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to publicly recog-
nize those extraordinary individuals who have made contributions to the
cultural enrichment of the State of New York, and to the success and
progress of society in the course of their life's work; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Anthony L. DiMango, D.D.S. upon the occasion of his designation as
recipient of the Physician Award by Lutheran HealthCare on Saturday, May
7, 2011; and
WHEREAS, Dr. DiMango, chair of Dentistry and director of Oral Maxillo-
facial Surgery, has been a member of the Lutheran family for over 50
years; he is a leader in his profession with a long career of service
and dedication to his patients, the dental profession and the Brooklyn
community; and
WHEREAS, Dr. DiMango's commitment continues to this very day through
his teaching of Lutheran's oral surgery and general practice residents;
he is highly regarded by his peers, beloved by his students and adored
by his patients; and
WHEREAS, A true asset to society, Dr. DiMango's distinguished record
merits the recognition and respectful tribute of this Legislative Body;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Anthony L. DiMango, D.D.S. upon the occasion of his designation as
recipient of the Physician Award by Lutheran HealthCare; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Anthony L. DiMango, D.D.S.
