LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Dr. Mark H. Krotowski upon the occasion
of his designation for special recognition

WHEREAS, It is incumbent upon the people of the State of New York to
recognize and acknowledge those within our midst who have made signif-
icant contributions to the quality of life therein; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Dr.
Mark H. Krotowski upon the occasion of his designation for special
recognition, to be celebrated at the 4th Annual Men of Distinction
Awards Ceremony, on Thursday, June 9, 2011, in Brooklyn, New York; and
WHEREAS, Mark Krotowski has been a practicing physician in Canarsie,
Brooklyn, since 1979 and is a member of the New York State Academy of
Family Physicians for the past 32 years; he served as the Chair of
NYSAFP's Bylaws Commission, Operations, New Concepts Committee and has
been a member of the World Organization of Family Physicians; and
WHEREAS, Mark Krotowski is the past Chairman of Kings County Medical
Society Workers Compensation Advisory Committee and is the Chairman of
the Department of Family Medicine at Brookdale University Hospital; and
WHEREAS, Mark Krotowski has been interviewed and quoted in a number of
local newspapers and publications and is the recipient of many awards
and accolades for his outstanding work in the field of medicine; and
WHEREAS, Mark H. Krotowski was listed in Castle and Connolly maga-
zine's "Best Doctors in New York City" from 2001-2008; he was also list-
ed in CONSUMERS RESEARCH council's "Top Doctors in America" from
2002-2004; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when individ-
uals of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our atten-
tion, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens of
this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Dr. Mark H. Krotowski upon the occasion of his designation for
special recognition; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Dr. Mark H. Krotowski.
