LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Credo Community Center for the Treat-
ment of Addictions Inc. of Watertown, New York, upon the occasion of its
designation as a 2011 Best Companies to Work for in New York State

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that the quality and
character of life in this great Empire State is indelibly enriched by
the faithful efforts of those organizations within the State of New York
which aim to curb the use of alcohol and drugs within the community; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
Credo Community Center for the Treatment of Addictions Inc. of Water-
town, New York, upon the occasion of its designation as a 2011 Best
Companies to Work for in New York State; and
WHEREAS, This most auspicious event was held at the Best Companies to
Work for in New York State Awards Dinner on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at the
Albany Marriott in Albany, New York; and
WHEREAS, 50 companies have recently been designated the Best Companies
to Work for in New York for 2011; this fourth annual statewide survey
and awards program identifies and recognizes the best places of employ-
ment in the State of New York; these organizations are examples that
happy employees make for good business and drive the Empire State's
economy; and
WHEREAS, The success of Credo Community Center for the Treatment of
Addictions Inc. is due, in large part, to the efforts of skilled lead-
ers, and dedicated staff, who offer high quality, research-based
substance abuse treatment services, and support a lifestyle free from
addiction to alcohol and other drugs; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when organiza-
tions of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our atten-
tion, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens of
this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Credo Community Center for the Treatment of Addictions Inc. of
Watertown, New York, upon the occasion of its designation as a 2011 Best
Companies to Work for in New York State, and to wish this noble organ-
ization continued success in its vital work on behalf of the community
it serves; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Credo Community Center for the Treatment of Addictions Inc.,
Watertown, New York.
