LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending the Capital One Bank upon the occasion
of its designation as recipient of the Beautification Award by the
Wantagh Chamber of Commerce on January 26, 2011

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to honor those illus-
trious individuals and institutions of the State of New York whose
purposeful endeavors serve to enhance the quality of life in their
communities; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
the Capital One Bank upon the occasion of its designation as recipient
of the Beautification Award by the Wantagh Chamber of Commerce; and
WHEREAS, The Capital One Bank will be recognized at the Wantagh Cham-
ber of Commerce Annual Installation Dinner Dance to be held on Wednes-
day, January 26, 2011, at Mulcahy's in Wantagh, New York; and
WHEREAS, Accepting this most prestigious honor on behalf of Capital
One Bank will be its Manager Karen Drummond; and
WHEREAS, It is with great admiration that this Legislative Body
applauds the efforts of all the individuals involved in this vital
organization, and to recognize their unwavering devotion to improving
the quality of life for others; and
WHEREAS, Throughout its distinguished history, Capital One Bank has
diligently served the residents of Wantagh, New York, and has had a
positive impact throughout the entire community; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when organiza-
tions of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our atten-
tion, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens of
the great State of New York; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend the Capital One Bank upon the occasion of its designation as
recipient of the Beautification Award by the Wantagh Chamber of
Commerce; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to the Capital One Bank.
