LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Brittni Hamilton of Webster, New York,
upon the occasion of being named to the BOWLERS JOURNAL INTERNATIONAL
73rd Annual All-American Team

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to pay tribute to
those exemplary athletes who excel in collegiate athletics, distinguish-
ing themselves through notable achievements and representing the great
Empire State with pride and determination; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Brittni Hamilton of Webster, New York, upon the occasion of being named
to the BOWLERS JOURNAL INTERNATIONAL 73rd Annual All-American Team; and
WHEREAS, Announced in the August 2011 edition of BOWLERS JOURNAL
INTERNATIONAL, Brittni Hamilton's selection was based on credentials she
accrued during the June of 2010 through June of 2011 season; and
WHEREAS, Brittni Hamilton is the first collegiate bowler to be
selected in the 73 year history of the BOWLERS JOURNAL INTERNATIONAL
All-American Team; she collected victories at the 2010 USBC Junior Gold
Championships and the USBC Intercollegiate Singles Championships along
with winning a Silver Medal at the World Youth Championships; and
WHEREAS, Winning three team titles, Brittni Hamilton assisted in help-
ing lead Vanderbilt University to a second place finish at the NCAA
National Championships; in addition, she was selected as the Female
Bowler of the Year for 2010 by the Bowling Writers Association of Ameri-
ca; and
WHEREAS, Brittni Hamilton's distinguished record merits the recogni-
tion and respectful tribute of this Legislative Body; now, therefore, be
it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Brittni Hamilton of Webster, New York, upon the occasion of being
named to the BOWLERS JOURNAL INTERNATIONAL 73rd Annual All-American
Team; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Brittni Hamilton.
