LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending LCS Facility Group upon the occasion
of its designation as recipient of the Good Neighbor Award by the Dutch-
ess County Regional Chamber of Commerce

WHEREAS, From time to time this Legislative Body takes note of certain
extraordinary organizations it wishes to recognize for its valued
contributions to the success and progress of society and publicly
acknowledge its endeavors which have enhanced the basic humanity among
us all; and
WHEREAS, Organizations which serve the interests of the people of this
Empire State merit the commendation of this Legislative Body; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to commend LCS Facility
Group upon the occasion of its designation as recipient of the Good
Neighbor Award by the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce; and
WHEREAS, LCS Facility Group will receive this most auspicious honor on
Saturday, February 4, 2012, at the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of
Commerce's "An All-American Affair" Annual Gala, to be held at the
Grandview in Poughkeepsie, New York; and
WHEREAS, The Good Neighbor Award is presented annually to a local
business that demonstrates great corporate citizenship through volun-
teerism and support of the community and our non-profit partners; and
WHEREAS, In 2001, Joe Lepore launched LCS Facility Maintenance with
five employees, one van, and a dream to become the leading authority on
facility and property maintenance in the Hudson Valley; and
WHEREAS, Today, with more than 100 employees, 15 trucks, and three
distinct divisions, LCS Facility Group has become that authority on
facility and property maintenance and has paved the way for other busi-
nesses to follow and continue to improve the community; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when organiza-
tions of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our atten-
tion, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens of
this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend LCS Facility Group upon the occasion of its designation as
recipient of the Good Neighbor Award by the Dutchess County Regional
Chamber of Commerce; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to LCS Facility Group.
