LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Mike Parze upon the occasion of being
honored by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT in its 2012 Men at Work edition

WHEREAS, Individuals who distinguish themselves in their profession and
in service to their community merit the recognition and appreciation of
this Legislative Body and the people of the State of New York; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern and fully in accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
Mike Parze, Director of Food and Beverage at the Villa Roma Resort Hotel
and Conference Center in Callicoon, New York, upon the occasion of his
designation for special recognition by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT in
its 2012 Men at Work edition congratulating the men for making Sullivan
and Wayne Counties a better place to live; and
WHEREAS, Forty-five year old Mike Parze attended the State University
of New York's Farmingdale State College and earned a Bachelor of Arts
degree in Hospitality Management from American Public University and, he
has, in addition, received ServSafe certification from the National
Restaurant Association; and
WHEREAS, With ten years of experience, Mike Parze served as the Villa
Roma Resort Hotel and Conference Center's Director of Purchasing for six
years prior to being named its Director of Food and Beverage; and
WHEREAS, When the Villa Roma boasts about its "Championship Food" on
its billboards, the primary praise for that claim goes to Mike Parze;
and
WHEREAS, With him throughout have been his wife Daisy and their sons
Michael and Brian; their daughter Kelly; and their granddaughter Rory,
all of whom are proud to be part of his life and rejoice in his many
accomplishments; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have demonstrated a
long and sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in
their profession truly merit the recognition and appreciation of this
Legislative Body and the people of the State of New York; now, there-
fore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Mike Parze upon the occasion of being honored by the SULLIVAN
COUNTY DEMOCRAT in its 2012 Men at Work edition; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Mike Parze.
