LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Dr. Paul Salzberg, M.D. upon the occa-
sion of being honored by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT in its 2012 Men at
Work edition

WHEREAS, Individuals who distinguish themselves in their profession and
in service to their community merit the recognition and appreciation of
this Legislative Body and the people of the State of New York; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern and fully in accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
Dr. Paul Salzberg, M.D. upon the occasion of his designation for special
recognition by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT in its 2012 Men at Work
edition congratulating the men for making Sullivan and Wayne Counties a
better place to live; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Salzberg has a family practice on Route 97 North in
Callicoon, New York; fifty-nine years old, he has 30 years of valuable
experience as a physician; and
WHEREAS, He is Board Certified in Family Medicine and is also certi-
fied in Geriatric Medicine; and
WHEREAS, Active in his profession, Dr. Salzberg is President of the
Sullivan County Medical Society, President of the 3rd District of the
Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY); Treasurer of the Cats-
kill Region Medical Center (CRMC) Medical Board, and a Member of the
Board of Directors of the New York State Academy of Family Physicians
(NYSAFP); and
WHEREAS, An involved member of his community as well, Dr. Salzberg is
a valued member of the Kiwanis Club, the Sierra Club, and Temple Agudas
Achim; and
WHEREAS, With him throughout have been his wife Greta and their chil-
dren, Gavin and Holly, all of whom are proud to be part of his life and
rejoice in his many accomplishments; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have demonstrated a
long and sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in
their profession truly merit the recognition and appreciation of this
Legislative Body and the people of the State of New York; now, there-
fore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Dr. Paul Salzberg, M.D. upon the occasion of being honored by
the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT in its 2012 Men at Work edition; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Dr. Paul Salzberg.
