LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending the YWCA Ulster County Children's
Center at Family Court upon the occasion of hosting its Recognition
Luncheon and paying tribute to this year's honorees

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to commend both those
illustrious organizations as well as those individuals of remarkable
integrity and character within the State of New York whose focus and
intent have made a substantial impact on the quality of life in their
communities; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
the YWCA Ulster County Children's Center at Family Court upon the occa-
sion of hosting its Recognition Luncheon "Celebrate the Week of the
Young Child" on Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at Frank Guido's Little Italy,
Kingston, New York, and to pay tribute to the 2012 honorees; and
WHEREAS, The YWCA Ulster County Children's Center at Family Court will
pay special recognition to LaMar Hasbrouck, M.D., Robin Dassie, Detec-
tive John Dickson and The Institute for Family Health for their dedi-
cation to the children of the community; and
WHEREAS, The 2012 honorees have given not only of their time and ener-
gies but also of their competence, intelligence and leadership; and
WHEREAS, They have been called upon to contribute their time and
talents to countless civic and charitable endeavors and have always
given of themselves unstintingly; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of their community service, a
period of constructive involvement, they have stood constant in dignity,
good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the
recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend the YWCA Ulster County Children's Center at Family Court upon
the occasion of hosting its Recognition Luncheon "Celebrate the Week of
the Young Child" and to pay tribute to the 2012 honorees; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to the YWCA Ulster County Children's Center at Family Court, and
the aforementioned honorees.
