LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION congratulating First Niagara Bank upon the occa-
sion of its designation as the recipient of the 2011 Business Partner of
the Year Award by the Boys and Girls Club of Geneva

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize that the
quality and character of life in the communities across New York State
are enhanced by the concerned and dedicated efforts of business organ-
izations and individuals that generously contribute to the welfare of
the community and its citizenry; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to congratu-
late First Niagara Bank upon the occasion of its designation as the
recipient of the 2011 Business Partner of the Year Award by the Boys and
Girls Club of Geneva; and
WHEREAS, This auspicious occasion will be celebrated at the Boys and
Girls Club of Geneva's Annual Dinner on Thursday, October 20, 2011; and
WHEREAS, Partnering with the Boys and Girls Club of Geneva, First
Niagara Bank has become a well-sustained corporate sponsor of the Club;
and
WHEREAS, Active in organizing community activities for the Boys and
Girls Club of Geneva, First Niagara Bank is also a supporter of the
Geneva Community Center; the Center's conference room has been named in
honor of First Niagara Bank; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when business
organizations of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our
attention, they should be recognized by all the citizens of this great
Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate First Niagara Bank upon the occasion of its designation as
the recipient of the 2011 Business Partner of the Year Award by the Boys
and Girls Club of Geneva; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Kelly Mittiga, Senior Vice President, First Niagara Bank.
