LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION congratulating Sean Oh, of Wheatley High School,
on earning Second Place in the Cell Biology Category at the 2012 Long
Island Science and Engineering Fair

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to honor the youth of
today, and leaders of tomorrow, whose character and achievements exem-
plify the ideals and values cherished by this great State and nation;
and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to congratu-
late Sean Oh, a Senior at Wheatley High School, on earning Second Place
in the Cell Biology Category at the 2012 Long Island Science and Engi-
neering Fair; and
WHEREAS, Sean Oh's noteworthy project is entitled "The Neuroprotective
Effects of Docosabennoic Acid and Lithium Chloride: A Novel Pathway
Implicated in Alzheimer's Disease"; and
WHEREAS, Sean Oh also took home a special award for in vitro biology;
and
WHEREAS, In achieving this high academic honor, Sean Oh may take just
pride in the inspiration and contribution to the spirit of excellence he
brings to Old Westbury, New York's Wheatley High School; and
WHEREAS, Sean Oh stands poised on the threshold of a broad and chal-
lenging world, a testament to the love and nurturing care of his family,
teachers and friends; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate Sean Oh upon the occasion of earning Second Place in the
Cell Biology Category at the 2012 Long Island Science and Engineering
Fair, and to wish him continued success in all his future endeavors; and
be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Sean Oh.
