LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION congratulating Jim and Dottie Fiore of Catskill
Custom Floors upon the occasion of receiving 2012 All in the Family
honors from the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT

WHEREAS, Organizations and individuals which serve the economic well-be-
ing and interests of the people of this great Empire State merit the
commendation of this Legislative Body; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize that
the quality and character of life in the communities across New York
State are enhanced by the concerned and dedicated efforts of business
organizations and individuals that generously contribute to the welfare
of the community and its citizenry; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to congratu-
late Jim and Dottie Fiore of Catskill Custom Floors upon the occasion of
receiving 2012 All in the Family honors from the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMO-
CRAT; and
WHEREAS, Jim and Dottie Fiore are the founders and owners of Catskill
Custom Floors on Lake Street in downtown Liberty, New York; and
WHEREAS, Catskill Custom Floors specializes in high quality custom
flooring and installation; it opened in Liberty in fall of 2010 in the
location of the old Ontario Company firehouse building; and
WHEREAS, Jim Fiore founded Catskill Custom Floors in 2003; it was
originally based in Youngsville, New York; the business began by doing
contract work for companies such as Sears and Sandler & Worth; its first
customer was Orange County Paint and Carpet; and
WHEREAS, Dottie Fiore is in charge of the customer service and book-
keeping for Catskill Custom Floors; Jim Fiore and his son, James, handle
the installations; and
WHEREAS, Originally from Long Island, New York, Jim Fiore met his
wife, Dottie, when he first moved to Sullivan County; and
WHEREAS, This auspicious occasion presents a unique opportunity for
this Legislative Body to recognize and pay tribute to Jim and Dottie
Fiore of Catskill Custom Floors; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when business
organizations and individuals of such noble aims and accomplishments are
brought to our attention, they should be recognized by all the citizens
of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate Jim and Dottie Fiore of Catskill Custom Floors upon the
occasion of receiving 2012 All in the Family honors from the SULLIVAN
COUNTY DEMOCRAT; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Jim and Dottie Fiore.
