LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION congratulating Tyler Cappozzoli, Raul McGee,
Randall Turner and Dylan Murphy upon the occasion of capturing third
place at the New Balance National Championships

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body takes pleasure in honoring talented high
school athletes who distinguish themselves and their community through
outstanding athletic performance; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, it is the intent of this Legislative Body to
congratulate Tyler Cappozzoli, Raul McGee, Randall Turner and Dylan
Murphy upon the occasion of capturing third place at the New Balance
National Championships; and
WHEREAS, In capturing third place at the New Balance National Champi-
onships as members of the Boys Winter Track 3200 meter relay team, Tyler
Cappozzoli, Raul McGee, Randall Turner and Dylan Murphy also broke a
47-year old Catholic High School Athletic Association record for the
event; and
WHEREAS, Excellence and success in competitive sports can be achieved
only through strenuous practice; the dedication of Tyler Cappozzoli,
Raul McGee, Randall Turner and Dylan Murphy to track and field is a
year-round, everyday commitment; they are highly focused and have devel-
oped matchless work ethics; and
WHEREAS, The exemplary performances of Tyler Cappozzoli, Raul McGee,
Randall Turner and Dylan Murphy are reflective of their dedication,
determination and personal commitment; their achievement stands as a
hallmark of what is best in the families, schools and communities across
New York State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate Tyler Cappozzoli, Raul McGee, Randall Turner and Dylan
Murphy upon the occasion of capturing third place at the New Balance
National Championships and to commend them for the enduring honor they
have brought to their families, school and community; and be it further
RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Tyler Cappozzoli, Raul McGee, Randall Turner and Dylan
Murphy.
