LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Veronica E. Thompson as she is honored
by Global Evangelistic Ministries upon the occasion of her graduation
from the College of Mount Saint Vincent

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to act, in accord with
its long-standing traditions, to honor the achievements of its citizens
and leaders of tomorrow, whose character and accomplishments exemplify
the ideals and values cherished by this great State and nation; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
Veronica E. Thompson, of Bronx, New York, as she is honored by Global
Evangelistic Ministries, of Queens Village, New York, on Sunday, June
24, 2012 upon the occasion of her graduation from the College of Mount
Saint Vincent, where she earned a Master of Science in Nursing degree in
Nursing Administration; and
WHEREAS, Veronica E. Thompson is a woman of singular distinction and
superlative abilities who has established a high standard of academic
excellence and purposefulness of life; and
WHEREAS, Poised eagerly with enthusiasm and determined purpose, Vero-
nica E. Thompson now stands honorably, with just pride in her accom-
plishments and in eager anticipation of future challenges, understanding
and appreciating the caring counsel and support provided by her teach-
ers, friends and family; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when people of
such accomplishment are brought to our attention, they should be cele-
brated and recognized by all the citizens of the great State of New
York; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Veronica E. Thompson as she is honored by Global Evangelistic
Ministries on June 24, 2012 upon the occasion of her graduation from the
College of Mount Saint Vincent and to extend to her its best wishes for
a future of purposeful success and well-being, fully confident of her
response to a promising future and appreciative of the model she repres-
ents for others; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Veronica E. Thompson.
