LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Ta-Shauna Alesha Taffe as she is
honored by Global Evangelistic Ministries upon the occasion of her grad-
uation from Queens High School for Teaching

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to act, in accord with
its long-standing traditions, to honor the achievements of its young
citizens and leaders of tomorrow, whose character and accomplishments
exemplify the ideals and values cherished by this great State and
nation; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
Ta-Shauna Alesha Taffe as she is honored by Global Evangelistic Minis-
tries, of Queens Village, New York, on Sunday, June 24, 2012 upon the
occasion of her graduation from Queens High School for Teaching; and
WHEREAS, Ta-Shauna Alesha Taffe is a young woman of singular
distinction and superlative abilities who has established a high stand-
ard of academic excellence and purposefulness of life; and
WHEREAS, Poised eagerly with enthusiasm and determined purpose,
Ta-Shauna Alesha Taffe now stands honorably, with just pride in her
accomplishments and in eager anticipation of future challenges, under-
standing and appreciating the caring counsel and support provided by her
teachers, friends and family; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when young
people of such accomplishment are brought to our attention, they should
be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens of the great State of
New York; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Ta-Shauna Alesha Taffe as she is honored by Global Evangelistic
Ministries on June 24, 2012 upon the occasion of her graduation from
Queens High School for Teaching and to extend to her its best wishes for
a future of purposeful success and well-being, fully confident of her
response to a promising future and appreciative of the model she repres-
ents for all aspiring young people of the Empire State; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Ta-Shauna Alesha Taffe.
