recognize and acknowledge those within our midst who have made signif-
icant contributions to the quality of life therein; and

sis, but for "Cure Found"; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Mr.
and Mrs. Robert Hollinsworth upon the occasion of their designation for

WHEREAS, Cystic Fibrosis is a life-threatening genetic disease that
causes mucus to build up and clog some of the organs in the body,
particularly the lungs and pancreas; when mucus clogs the lungs, it can
make breathing very difficult; the mucus also causes bacteria (or germs)
to get stuck in the airways, which causes inflammation (or swelling) and
infections that lead to lung damage; and
WHEREAS, By the time Robert Hollinsworth was 34 years old, he had lost
his sister, Mary, and his two brothers, John and Jimmy to Cystic Fibro-
sis (CF); and

fundraiser for nine straight years; Justine became more involved in the
Breath of Life gala and has served on this committee for six years; and
WHEREAS, Once Justine joined Robert in the golf tournament, it evolved
into an annual tradition known as the "Hollinsworth Memorial Golf Tour-
nament"; in honor of Bob's sister, Mary, and brothers, John and Jim, the
Hollinsworth Memorial Golf Tournament has been ongoing for 13 years; and
WHEREAS, With the help of Tim O'Brien, countless sponsors including
CoreLogic and Assurant Specialty Property, friends and family, this
tournament has become a great social function for the CF Foundation; and
WHEREAS, The Hollinsworths have raised a significant amount for the CF
Foundation over the past 10 years; what started as trepidation for
Robert has turned into a commitment to find a cure from both Robert and
Justine; and
WHEREAS, Robert and Justine Hollinsworth have two young children, Abby
and Lindsay; Justine is a stay-at-home mom and loves all that it
entails; she volunteers at both of her daughters' schools and is
