LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending the Emerling Agency, LLC upon the
occasion of its designation as recipient of the Business of the Year
Award by the Clarence Chamber of Commerce

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to honor those busi-
nesses within the State of New York which distinguish themselves through
outstanding professional behavior, corporate innovation, and enduring
commitment to the community; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to commend the Emerling
Agency, LLC upon the occasion of its designation as recipient of the
Business of the Year Award by the Clarence Chamber of Commerce, to be
celebrated at its Annual Awards Dinner on Thursday, February 24, 2011;
and
WHEREAS, This award is what many consider to be the highest honor
bestowed in the town of Clarence, for which Emerling Agency is much
honored to receive; the Emerling Agency is an Independent Insurance and
Financial Services company of 17 staff members operated by President
Paul Barone LUTCF; George Emerling CIC; Scott Medole and Mark Medole
CIC, while founders Norman and Nancy Emerling still continue to provide
on-going consulting; and
WHEREAS, In recent years, the Emerling Agency has partnered with McMa-
hon, Stahlka and Floss Agencies to create the EMS Group; the EMS Group
has grown to be one of the most respected and resourceful insurance and
financial service groups in Western New York through their dedication to
their clients and community involvement; and
WHEREAS, The Emerling Agency has always strived to be actively
involved and in support of the Clarence community; staff members are
participants in several different community organizations, including
Rotary, Lions and Kiwanis Clubs, local fire companies, foundations,
associations, and church groups; and
WHEREAS, With January of 2011 marking the Emerling Agency's 30th anni-
versary in business, its principal goal is to provide the Clarence
community with the best insurance and financial experience possible; the
staff is a group of dedicated and educated professionals who strive to
satisfy the needs of their clients, matching them with the best possible
product available; and
WHEREAS, Businesses such as the Emerling Agency, LLC exert a strong,
positive influence on the communities they serve and are a crucial
element in the economy of New York State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend the Emerling Agency, LLC upon the occasion of its designation as
recipient of the Business of the Year Award by the Clarence Chamber of
Commerce; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to the Emerling Agency, LLC.
