LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Michael Pinciotti upon the occasion of
his designation for special recognition by the 2013 SULLIVAN COUNTY
DEMOCRAT Men at Work Edition

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve the
best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration and
cannot be sufficiently extolled; and
WHEREAS, Michael "Rocky" Pinciotti has given not only of his time and
energies but also of his competence, intelligence and leadership and
consequently has been designated for special honor; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to commend Michael
Pinciotti upon the occasion of his designation for special recognition
by the 2013 SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT Men at Work Edition; and
WHEREAS, A resident of Cochecton, New York, Michael "Rocky" Pinciotti
is multi-employed in a variety of artistic endeavors: Delaware Valley
Arts Alliance, SUNY Sullivan, American Museum of Natural History, Let
There Be Neon, Camp Equinunk & Blue Ridge and as an exhibiting artist;
and
WHEREAS, Rocky Pinciotti's current titles and duties include: gallery
director; adjunct typography professor; design, display and fabrication
consultant; creative arts program director; and artist; and
WHEREAS, As an artist, Rocky Pinciotti's works have been exhibited
throughout the United States, and in Finland, Argentina and Brazil; and
WHEREAS, Michael "Rocky" Pinciotti received his B.A. degree from the
University of Toledo, and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Pratt Insti-
tute in Brooklyn, New York; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his professional and communi-
ty service, a period of constructive involvement, Michael Pinciotti has
stood constant in dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, With him throughout have been his wife, Joan Glase, and his
son, Gabriel, both of whom feel privileged to be a part of his life and
rejoice in his achievements; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Michael Pinciotti upon the occasion of his designation for
special recognition by the 2013 SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT Men at Work
Edition; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Michael Pinciotti.
