LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Matt Dorcas upon the occasion of his
selection as a Young Professional Up and Comer in the Business Community
by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT Special Edition

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and pay
tribute to those young adults within the great Empire State who have
made strong contributions to their communities and who serve as role
models for their peers; and
WHEREAS, Matt Dorcas has given not only of his time and energies but
also of his competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently has
been designated for special honor; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Matt
Dorcas upon the occasion of his selection as a Young Professional Up and
Comer in the Business Community by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT Special
Edition; and
WHEREAS, Matt Dorcas, owner of ND Pro Media Inc., located in downtown
Monticello, New York, credits his company's ability to attract customers
from hours away on its diversity and special features; the studio offers
a photo booth with instant photos, hundreds of virtual backgrounds,
graphic design, video, and film; and
WHEREAS, This extraordinary young man not only runs a successful
photography business, the largest studio in all of Sullivan County, he
also sits on several Sullivan County boards; among them, the Young
Emerging Leaders group he started six years ago in which young adults
within the community connect with experienced and prosperous business
professionals; and
WHEREAS, In addition, the group has two staple events throughout the
year; a YEL Fest Party at Bethel Woods, as well as a cardboard sled race
at Holiday Mountain in Monticello, New York, which donates substantial
funds to food pantries throughout Sullivan County; and
WHEREAS, The passion that Matt Dorcas has for helping Sullivan County
youth is exemplified in the group's success; the Young Emerging Leaders
group continues to expand and present young professionals within his
community with numerous opportunities and network connections; and
WHEREAS, With him throughout have been his wife, Dawn, and their son,
Declan, both of whom feel privileged to be a part of his life and
rejoice in his achievements; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the
recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Matt Dorcas upon the occasion of his selection as a Young Profes-
sional Up and Comer in the Business Community; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Matt Dorcas.
