LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Christy Haff upon the occasion of her
selection as a Young Professional Up and Comer in the Business Community
by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT Special Edition

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and pay
tribute to those young adults within the great Empire State who have
made strong contributions to their communities and who serve as role
models for their peers; and
WHEREAS, Christy Haff has given not only of her time and energies but
also of her competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently has
been designated for special honor; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Christy Haff upon the occasion of her selection as a Young Professional
Up and Comer in the Business Community by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT
Special Edition; and
WHEREAS, Christy Haff, who although earned her bachelor's degree from
SUNY Oneonta in Restaurant Administration, is the marketing represen-
tative for The Maxon Company, a local insurance business she began work-
ing for full-time in 2006; in this capacity, Christy pays disability
claims, helps administer FSA and HRA claims, and assists in reimburse-
ment and flexible spending; and
WHEREAS, This compassionate and customer-oriented businesswoman, is a
member of the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce Young Emerging Lead-
ers, and is also a Grahamsville United Methodist Church Junior Mission
Team Member; and
WHEREAS, With her throughout have been her fiance, Ken, and daughter,
Brianna, both of whom feel privileged to be a part of her life and
rejoice in her achievements; and
WHEREAS, It is the practice of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the
recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Christy Haff upon the occasion of her selection as a Young Profes-
sional Up and Comer in the Business Community; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Christy Haff.
