LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Reverend Dr. Jean C. Romulus upon the
occasion of his designation for special recognition by the Ambassador
For Christ International Outreach Ministry on September 1, 2013

WHEREAS, The character and richness of religious and community life in
this noble Empire State are nourished and fulfilled through the faithful
concern and selfless devotion of those who would commit their energies
and purpose to the ministry of others; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to bring full recog-
nition and just tribute to those individuals who distinguish themselves
and the ministry through their unremitting commitment and preeminence of
service; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Reverend Dr.
Jean C. Romulus upon the occasion of his designation for special recog-
nition by the Ambassador For Christ International Outreach Ministry at
its 3rd Annual Pastors Appreciation Gala Dinner, to be held on Sunday,
September 1, 2013, at the Astoria World Manor, Astoria, New York; and
WHEREAS, Reverend Dr. Jean C. Romulus is being recognized for his
dedicated work within the Haitian and the American communities; and
WHEREAS, Born in Haiti, Reverend Dr. Jean C. Romulus has worked in
different ministerial and leadership capacities for the past 35 years;
he attained a Bachelor of Theology degree from Greater Bethel Bible
Institute, and an Honorary Doctorate degree in Theology in Sacred
Letters from the Anchor Theological Bible College; and
WHEREAS, Reverend Dr. Jean C. Romulus is the founder of Soul Winners
Outreach Ministries in Queens, New York, and resides in Rosedale, New
York, with his loving wife, Marie, and their four beautiful children,
Esther, Chantal, David, and Jean Jr.; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when a person
of such noble aims and accomplishments is brought to our attention it is
appropriate to publicly and jubilantly proclaim and commend that indi-
vidual for the edification of others; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Reverend Dr. Jean C. Romulus upon the occasion of his designation
for special recognition by the Ambassador For Christ International
Outreach Ministry on September 1, 2013, noting his unremitting and
compassionate faith and his exemplary service to God, man, and his
community; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Reverend Dr. Jean C. Romulus.
