LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Eternal Beauty of NY and Hairtastique
Mobile Salon Systems upon the occasion of hosting the Candy Coated
Colors with Kids event

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those organizations which substantially contribute to
the vitality of their communities and the entire Empire State; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
Eternal Beauty of NY and Hairtastique Mobile Salon Systems upon the
occasion of hosting the Candy Coated Colors with Kids event, to be cele-
brated on July 7, 2012; and
WHEREAS, After 10 years of outstanding accomplishments, Karen W.
Vanderburg of Eternal Beauty Salon NY has been an inspiration in the New
York fashion community, exemplifying excellence; she is now celebrating
alongside a true friend and partner Ciara L. Smith in the hair arena,
who is also launching the overly anticipated Hairtastique Mobile Salon
Systems; and
WHEREAS, The combination of these two powerful Black women will prove
nothing short of amazing as this particular presentation marks the
strength and influence which has taken cosmetics and hairstyling to
dazzling heights on the New York fashion scene; and
WHEREAS, Among several displays, the evening will feature cakes which
define life's most special moments such as weddings, birthdays, and
anniversaries; in addition, the ladies will charm their guests with
electrifying avant-garde hair creations, showcasing their artistic side;
and
WHEREAS, It is the intent of this Legislative Body to recognize and
support entrepreneurs and small businesses whose dedication and accom-
plishments contribute to the economic health and vitality of the commu-
nities they serve in the State of New York; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Eternal Beauty of NY and Hairtastique Mobile Salon Systems upon
the occasion of hosting the Candy Coated Colors with Kids event; and be
it further
RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Karen W. Vanderburg and Ciara L. Smith.
