LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Frank Meddaugh upon the occasion of
his designation for special recognition by the 2014 SULLIVAN COUNTY
DEMOCRAT Men at Work Edition

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve the
best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration and
cannot be sufficiently extolled; and
WHEREAS, Frank Meddaugh has given not only of his time and energies
but also of his competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently
has been designated for special honor; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to commend Frank
Meddaugh upon the occasion of his designation for special recognition by
the 2014 SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT Men at Work Edition; and
WHEREAS, Frank Meddaugh provides invaluable service as a counter
salesperson at Schmidt's Wholesale, Inc. in Monticello, New York; and
WHEREAS, For 27 years, Frank Meddaugh has made the lives of countless
Schmidt's Wholesale, Inc. customers easier through his knowledgeable,
patient, and personal customer service, strengthening the fabric of
community life by example and in deed; and
WHEREAS, Frank Meddaugh proudly served his country as a member of the
United States Armed Services; and
WHEREAS, In addition to brightening his neighbors' days at work, Frank
Meddaugh also beautifies his community by volunteering as a gardener,
taking care of the flowers that grace the entrance to the Village of
Liberty; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his professional and communi-
ty service, a period of constructive involvement, Frank Meddaugh has
stood constant in dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Frank Meddaugh upon the occasion of his designation for special
recognition by the 2014 SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT Men at Work Edition;
and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Frank Meddaugh.
