LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Paul and Alane Hohenberg upon the
occasion of their designation as recipients of the Lifetime Service
Award by the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall on April 16, 2015

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to honor and pay
tribute to individuals whose commitment and creative talents contribute
to the cultural enrichment, education and entertainment of their commu-
nity and the State of New York; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
Paul and Alane Hohenberg upon the occasion of their designation as
recipients of the Lifetime Service Award by the Troy Savings Bank Music
Hall to be celebrated at its 35th Birthday Gala on Thursday, April 16,
2015, at the Franklin Plaza in Troy, New York; and
WHEREAS, Paul and Alane Hohenberg will receive this auspicious award
for their sincere dedication and substantial role as community leaders;
they continuously cast a positive impact on the historic Troy Savings
Bank Music Hall and have displayed an unbridled enthusiasm in all their
professional and civic endeavors; and
WHEREAS, Since its inception 35 years ago, Paul and Alane Hohenberg
have been involved with the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall Corporation
through volunteerism, support, and board management expertise; and
WHEREAS, The arts are the building blocks of civilization, and are
central to human expression; they enlighten us and inspire the imagina-
tion; individuals which further such worthy purposes richly merit the
recognition and appreciation of this Legislative Body and the people of
the Capital Region and the State of New York; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the
recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Paul and Alane Hohenberg upon the occasion of their designation
as recipients of the Lifetime Service Award by the Troy Savings Bank
Music Hall on April 16, 2015; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Paul and Alane Hohenberg.
