LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Taylor Wierzbicki upon the occasion of
her designation for special recognition by the Orange County Interscho-
lastic Athletic Association as a 2015 Senior Scholar

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to act, in accord with
its long-standing traditions, to honor the achievements of its young
citizens and leaders of tomorrow, whose character and accomplishments
exemplify the ideals and values cherished by this great State and
nation; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Taylor Wierz-
bicki upon the occasion of her designation for special recognition by
the Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association as a 2015 Senior
Scholar; and
WHEREAS, Academically and athletically, Taylor Wierzbicki has distin-
guished herself as a young woman of superlative ability, talent, and
maturity, establishing standards of excellence and achievement, purpose-
fulness of life, and responsibility rarely achieved in youthful years;
and
WHEREAS, Taylor Wierzbicki a student at S.S. Seward Institute in
Florida, New York, ranked 7th in her class with a 95.8 GPA; she played
soccer, basketball, and softball; and
WHEREAS, A member of the National Honor Society, Taylor Wierzbicki
served as vice president of Student Council, and was a member of chorus
and the yearbook club; she plans to attend college and major in biology;
and
WHEREAS, An outstanding role model for her classmates, Taylor Wierz-
bicki has brought honor to her family, school, and community; and
WHEREAS, Taylor Wierzbicki may stand with pride in her achievements,
experiencing the satisfaction of her labors and the joy of her accom-
plishments, eager to face the challenge of new experiences as she
continues her education; and
WHEREAS, Taylor Wierzbicki represents the potential inherent in our
most precious resource, our youth; this Legislative Body is pleased to
honor this young woman, recognizing her achievements and the promise of
her future; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Taylor Wierzbicki upon the occasion of her designation for special
recognition by the Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association as
a 2015 Senior Scholar, and to wish her well in her future endeavors; and
be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Taylor Wierzbicki.
