LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commemorating the 40th Anniversary of Staub
Machine Company on June 12, 2015
WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those individuals and businesses which substantially
contribute to the economic vitality of their communities and the entire
Empire State; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, it is the sense of this Legislative Body to commem-
orate the 40th Anniversary of Staub Machine Company to be celebrated at
a party on Friday, June 12, 2015; and
WHEREAS, Staub Machine Company was founded in 1975, in the garage of
Tony Staub's childhood home; over the next 40 years he built his company
into an industry leader in the precision machining and production indus-
try; and
WHEREAS, In its humble beginning, Staub Machine Company started with
the purchase of an engine lathe and without a single customer; two
decades later, the company moved into an old Super Duper grocery store
location in Hamburg, New York, and it remains there to this day; and
WHEREAS, In 2010, Tony Staub purchased two additional buildings a mile
away from the main location; with this added space and the opportunities
it allowed, Staub Machine Company was able to take innovation and
production to a brand new level; and
WHEREAS, Currently, Tony Staub still serves as President of Staub
Machine Company; his goal of embracing technology and innovation through
forward thinking and good old-fashioned corporate honesty has been real-
ized and continued by company leaders and employees; and
WHEREAS, On May 13, 2015, Tony Staub and Staub Machine Company proudly
accepted the Buffalo Business First Manufacturing Award for Innovation;
and
WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body acknowl-
edges this exceptional business and its contributions to the local and
State economies, fully confident it will continue to enjoy the sparkling
successes it has experienced thus far; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize those
businesses within the State of New York which contribute to the economic
health and vitality of the communities they serve; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 40th Anniversary of Staub Machine Company on June 12,
2015; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Tony Staub, Founder/President, Staub Machine Company.
