LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Louise Pitlake upon the occasion of her
designation as recipient of the 2016 Professional of the Year Award by
the Merrick Chamber of Commerce

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve the
best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration and
cannot be sufficiently extolled; and
WHEREAS, Louise Pitlake has given not only of her time and energies
but also of her competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently
has been designated for special recognition; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Louise Pitlake
upon the occasion of her designation as recipient of the 2016 Profes-
sional of the Year Award by the Merrick Chamber of Commerce, to be cele-
brated at its Annual Installation Dinner on Thursday, January 28, 2016,
at the Chateau Briand in Carle Place, New York; and
WHEREAS, A Licensed Associate and Real Estate Broker for 30 years,
Louise Pitlake is a proven professional working with a team of experts;
and
WHEREAS, Louise Pitlake and her sales team have built their reputation
on total commitment to specialized customer service, whether it is
attaining the greatest value from your greatest investment, your home,
or finding the home of your dreams; and
WHEREAS, Achieving the top of the Douglas Elliman ranks for over 16
years, Louise Pitlake and her sales team have specialized in fine homes,
luxury properties and estates, earning designations as Relocation
Specialist, SRES Specialist as well as being e-certified; and
WHEREAS, For her incredible knowledge and experience in the challeng-
ing local real estate market, Louise Pitlake has been the recipient of
numerous awards and accolades including the Chairman's Circle Award and
the Prea 100 Award; in addition, she was recognized as a 10 year Legend
Award winner; and
WHEREAS, Active in her community, Louise Pitlake is a member of the
Merrick Chamber of Commerce, the Merrick Kiwanis Club, the Leading Edge
Society and the Honor Society; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their profession and community,
and have shown a long and sustained commitment to excellence, certainly
have earned the recognition and applause of all citizens of this great
Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Louise Pitlake upon the occasion of her designation as recipient
of the 2016 Professional of the Year Award by the Merrick Chamber of
Commerce; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Louise Pitlake.
