LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Giuseppe DiBartolomeo upon the occa-
sion of being named Small Businessperson of the Year by the Port Wash-
ington Chamber of Commerce

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those individuals who substantially contribute to the
economic vitality of their communities and the entire Empire State; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
Giuseppe DiBartolomeo upon the occasion of being named Small Busines-
sperson of the Year by the Port Washington Chamber of Commerce to be
celebrated at the Nassau Council of Chamber of Commerce's 31st Annual
Small Businessperson of the Year ceremony; and
WHEREAS, Giuseppe DiBartolomeo is the owner of Home Run Electric, a
full service residential and commercial electrical contracting business
which has served the Port Washington community, and Long Island as a
whole, for over 25 years; and
WHEREAS, Dedicated to serving his community, this esteemed small busi-
ness owner has continuously strived throughout the years to provide the
highest quality workmanship, along with exceptional customer service;
and
WHEREAS, Under Giuseppe DiBartolomeo's illustrious guidance, Home Run
Electric will continue to fulfill the needs of Long Islanders for many
years to come; and
WHEREAS, This esteemed small business owner has been called upon to
contribute his time and talents to countless civic and charitable
endeavors and has always given of himself unstintingly; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his community service, a
period of constructive involvement, Giuseppe DiBartolomeo has stood
constant in dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an individ-
ual for the benefit of others which Giuseppe DiBartolomeo has displayed
throughout his life; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the
recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Giuseppe DiBartolomeo upon the occasion of being named Small
Businessperson of the Year by the Port Washington Chamber of Commerce;
and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Giuseppe DiBartolomeo.
