LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Dawn Schuler upon the occasion of
being named Probationary Member of the Year by Manorville Community
Ambulance
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend the concerned and caring work of citizens who voluntarily assist
in safeguarding the safety and welfare of their neighbors and community;
and
WHEREAS, Volunteer ambulance corps members are an important part of
the safety net of America's healthcare system; they provide lifesaving
care to those in need, 24 hours a day, seven days a week; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to commend Dawn Schuler
upon the occasion of being named Probationary Member of the Year by
Manorville Community Ambulance; and
WHEREAS, Dawn Schuler joined Manorville Community Ambulance on January
6, 2015, with a strong desire to help others in a volunteer setting; she
officially became a full member of the company on July 7, 2015; and
WHEREAS, This esteemed paramedic has worked tirelessly in a wide vari-
ety of areas to contribute to the Manorville Community Ambulance; she
has obtained First Aid and CPR training, is certified as a driver, and
serves on numerous committees in the agency; and
WHEREAS, A dedicated volunteer and respected team player, Dawn Schuler
is known for her kindness and compassion, as well as for her diligence
in responding to calls throughout the night; and
WHEREAS, Furthermore, Dawn Schuler is respected by her colleagues for
all she does to make Manorville Community Ambulance a better emergency
medical services provider; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when medical
professionals of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our
attention, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens
of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Dawn Schuler upon the occasion of being named Probationary
Member of the Year by Manorville Community Ambulance; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Dawn Schuler.
