LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commemorating the 50th Anniversary of ITT Enidine
Inc. of Orchard Park, New York

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those individuals and businesses which substantially
contribute to the economic vitality of their communities and the entire
Empire State; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, it is the sense of this Legislative Body to commem-
orate the 50th Anniversary of ITT Enidine Inc. of Orchard Park, New
York; and
WHEREAS, Established in 1966, ITT Enidine Inc. provides differentiated
products and services to the Industrial, Aerospace, Defense, Rail and
Transportation markets throughout the world; and
WHEREAS, ITT's global resources, six-sigma and lean manufacturing
provide ITT Enidine Inc. the resources to stay at the forefront of new
technologies, research and development and high quality production for
its customers around the world; and
WHEREAS, Founded in 1920, ITT is headquartered in White Plains, New
York, with employees in more than 30 countries and sales in a total of
approximately 125 countries; in 2014, the company generated $2.7 billion
in sales; and
WHEREAS, ITT is a diversified leading manufacturer of highly engi-
neered critical components and customized technology solutions for grow-
ing industrial end-markets in energy infrastructure, electronics, aero-
space and transportation; and
WHEREAS, Building on its heritage of innovation, ITT Enidine Inc.
partners with its customers to deliver enduring solutions to the key
industries that underpin our modern way of life; and
WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body acknowl-
edges this exceptional business and its contributions to the local and
State economies, fully confident it will continue to enjoy the sparkling
successes it has experienced thus far; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize those
businesses within the State of New York which contribute to the economic
health and vitality of the communities they serve; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 50th Anniversary of ITT Enidine Inc. of Orchard Park,
New York; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to ITT Enidine Inc.
