LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Kyle Hendrickson upon the occasion of
his designation for special recognition by the Orange County Interscho-
lastic Athletic Association as a 2016 Senior Scholar-Athlete

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to act, in accord with
its long-standing traditions, to honor the achievements of its young
citizens and leaders of tomorrow, whose character and accomplishments
exemplify the ideals and values cherished by this great State and
Nation; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Kyle Hendrick-
son upon the occasion of his designation for special recognition by the
Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association as a 2016 Senior
Scholar-Athlete; and
WHEREAS, Academically and athletically, Kyle Hendrickson has distin-
guished himself as a young man of superlative ability, talent, and matu-
rity, establishing standards of excellence and achievement, purposeful-
ness of life, and responsibility rarely achieved in youthful years; and
WHEREAS, Kyle Hendrickson, a student at Roscoe Central School, is
ranked 3rd in his class with a 93.06 GPA; he was also Captain of his
school's football, basketball and baseball teams; and
WHEREAS, This esteemed young man was named to the Superintendent's
Honor Roll and High Honor Roll and is a member of the National Honor
Society; he has also served as both the Freshman and Sophomore Class
President and participated in band; and
WHEREAS, Kyle Hendrickson has been called upon to contribute his time
and talents to countless civic and charitable endeavors and has always
given of himself unstintingly; he has graciously given of his time as a
modified basketball time keeper and has volunteered with his local food
pantry and Kiwanis; and
WHEREAS, An outstanding role model for his classmates, Kyle Hendrick-
son has brought honor to his family, school, and community; and
WHEREAS, Kyle Hendrickson may stand with pride in his achievements,
experiencing the satisfaction of his labors and the joy of his accom-
plishments, eager to face the challenge of new experiences as he contin-
ues his education at SUNY Oneonta where he will major in Computer
Science and minor in Mass Communications; and
WHEREAS, Kyle Hendrickson represents the potential inherent in our
most precious resource, our youth; this Legislative Body is pleased to
honor this young man, recognizing his achievements and the promise of
his future; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Kyle Hendrickson upon the occasion of his designation for special
recognition by the Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association as
a 2016 Senior Scholar-Athlete, and to wish him well in his future
endeavors; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Kyle Hendrickson.
