LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Sound Roof Systems Ltd. upon the occa-
sion of its designation as the 2016 National Subcontractor of the Year
by the United States Small Business Administration

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those individuals and businesses which substantially
contribute to the economic vitality of their communities and the entire
Empire State; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
Sound Roof Systems Ltd. upon the occasion of its designation as the 2016
National Subcontractor of the Year by the United States Small Business
Administration, celebrated on Monday, May 2, 2016, in Washington, D.C.;
and
WHEREAS, Since 1963, the President of the United States has issued a
proclamation each year declaring National Small Business Week; this
year, during the first week of May, the small businesses of America will
be celebrated and honored at a special ceremony in the nation's Capital;
and
WHEREAS, Located in Williston Park, New York, Sound Roof Systems Ltd.
is being honored with this auspicious award in recognition of its
contribution to our nation's prosperity; and
WHEREAS, As we mark 71 consecutive months of job growth in the United
States, we know that this achievement is only possible due to the hard
work and perseverance of entrepreneurs like those of Sound Roof Systems
Ltd.; and
WHEREAS, America's small business owners sacrifice and struggle each
day to build their businesses; it is only fitting that, during National
Small Business Week, we celebrate Sound Roof Systems Ltd.'s contrib-
utions to our nation and recommit ourselves to empowering the entrepre-
neurs and small business owners who help drive America's economy; and
WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body acknowl-
edges this exceptional business and its contributions to the local and
State economies, fully confident that it will continue to enjoy the
sparkling successes it has experienced thus far; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Sound Roof Systems Ltd. upon the occasion of its designation as
the 2016 National Subcontractor of the Year by the United States Small
Business Administration; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Sound Roof Systems Ltd., Williston Park, New York.
