LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Joan and Steve Sady upon the occasion of
their retirement after many years of distinguished service to the people
of Warren County

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to acknowledge the
significant milestones in the distinguished careers of esteemed resi-
dents of this noble Empire State; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Joan
and Steve Sady upon the occasion of their retirement after many years of
distinguished service to the people of Warren County which was cele-
brated at a retirement party on Friday, April 10, 2015, at Rainer's at
the Ramada, Queensbury, New York; they will officially retire on April
30, 2015; and
WHEREAS, Joan and Steve Sady have rendered faithful, conscientious and
valuable service to the residents of Warren County in their respective
positions in government; they have earned the admiration, esteem and
affection of their colleagues and the community they served; and
WHEREAS, Joan Sady began her employment with the Warren County Clerk
of the Board's Office in 2003, and has ably served as Clerk of the Board
since 2006; she has been invaluable to both the Board of Supervisors and
many Department Heads over the years, and was the "go to" person for
anyone with a question about County government; and
WHEREAS, This esteemed woman was involved in coordinating the County's
2013 Bicentennial Celebration, and in 2014, her office undertook the
codification of all County policies, plans, and local laws; and
WHEREAS, Steve Sady has worked at the Warren County Department of
Public Works since 2004; and
WHEREAS, During their careers, Joan and Steve Sady served with loyal-
ty, honor and distinction, and were governed by a keen sense of duty;
and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when individ-
uals of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our atten-
tion, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens of
the great State of New York; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Joan and Steve Sady upon the occasion of their retirement after
many years of distinguished service to the people of Warren County; and
be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Joan and Steve Sady.
