Senate Resolution No. 1089

HONORING James Roberts upon the occasion of his
designation as Realtor of the Year by the Buffalo
Niagara Association of Realtors

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
James Roberts upon the occasion of his designation as Realtor of the
Year by the Buffalo Niagara Association of Realtors; this momentous
occasion was celebrated at its Inaugural Event in January of 2017, at
Brookfield Country Club, Clarence, New York; and

WHEREAS, A resident of Hamburg, New York, James Roberts is a
certified appraiser, certified auctioneer and a real estate broker; and

WHEREAS, James Roberts has been a member of the Buffalo Niagara
Association of Realtors (BNAR) since 1995; and

WHEREAS, As the broker owner of Metro Roberts Realty, James Roberts
is responsible for the management of seven real estate offices; and

WHEREAS, The success of Metro Roberts Realty is in direct
correlation to the efforts of James Roberts, whose involvement is, and
always has been, characterized by an impressive commitment, an unbridled
enthusiasm, and an uncompromising standard of excellence in all
endeavors on behalf of the organization and the community it serves; and

WHEREAS, It has always been the objective of this Legislative Body
to honor and support those individuals who have displayed their
commitment to the betterment of their communities, and it is the intent
of this Legislative Body to inscribe upon its records this tribute to
James Roberts, that future generations may know and appreciate his
admirable character, his many benevolent deeds, and the respect and
esteem in which he is held by his peers; and

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body that when
individuals of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our
attention, they should be recognized and applauded by all the citizens
of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor James Roberts upon the occasion of his designation as Realtor of
the Year by the Buffalo Niagara Association of Realtors; and be it
further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to James Roberts.
