HONORING Nicole Sperrazza upon the occasion of her
designation as recipient of the Youth of the Year
Award by the Erie-Niagara Sunrise Exchange Club

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize and
pay tribute to those young people within the great Empire State who have
made strong contributions to their communities and who serve as role
models for their peers; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Nicole Sperrazza, of Kenmore East High School, upon the occasion of her
designation as recipient of the Youth of the Year Award to be celebrated
at a Breakfast Meeting by the Erie-Niagara Sunrise Exchange Club at the
Olympic Restaurant in Kenmore, New York; and

WHEREAS, This auspicious award is given to a graduating high school
student who displays excellence in academics, leadership and commitment
to good citizenship; and

WHEREAS, Nicole Sperrazza, in achieving this high academic honor,
may take just pride in the inspiration and contribution to the spirit of
excellence she brings to her family, friends, community and school; and

WHEREAS, With her keen sense of civic duty and commitment to others,
Nicole Sperrazza represents the best development of potential which is
inherent in our most precious resource, our youth; and

WHEREAS, Poised eagerly with enthusiasm and determined purpose, this
scholar now stands honorably, with just pride in her accomplishments and
in eager anticipation of future challenges, understanding and
appreciating the caring counsel and support provided by her teachers,
coaches and parents; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Nicole Sperrazza upon the occasion of her designation as recipient
of the Youth of the Year Award by the Erie-Niagara Sunrise Exchange
Club; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Nicole Sperrazza.
