Senate Resolution No. 1311

HONORING Linda Koller upon the occasion of her
designation as recipient of the 2016 Elite Sales and
Marketing Award by the Buffalo Niagara Sales and
Marketing Executives organization

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those individuals who substantially contribute to the
economic vitality of their communities and the entire Empire State; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Linda Koller upon the occasion of her designation as recipient of the
2016 Elite Sales and Marketing Award by the Buffalo Niagara Sales and
Marketing Executives organization celebrated at its Annual Awards Gala
on Monday, March 6, 2017 at the Millennium Hotel in Buffalo, New York;
and

WHEREAS, The Elite Sales and Marketing Awards are presented by the
Buffalo Niagara Sales and Marketing Executives organization to
individuals who have excelled in representing their organization in the
sales and marketing field; and

WHEREAS, The 2016 Elite Sales and Marketing Award speaks to Linda
Koller's leadership of Daemen College's marketing team and their success
in enhancing its enrollment efforts both locally and nationally; and

WHEREAS, With both a bachelor's degree in communication from Florida
State University and a master's degree in arts administration from
Daemen College, Linda Koller joined Daemen College in 2006, as the
Marketing Director and Coordinator before being promoted to its
Executive Director of Marketing, a position she holds to this day; and

WHEREAS, Linda Koller, of Orchard Park, New York, is a leader and
role model for her entire community; and

WHEREAS, This esteemed woman has given not only of her time and
energies but also of her competence, intelligence and leadership and
consequently has been designated for special honor; and

WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an
individual for the benefit of others which Linder Koller has displayed
throughout her career; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when business
leaders of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our
attention, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens
of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Linda Koller upon the occasion of her designation as recipient of
the 2016 Elite Sales and Marketing Award by the Buffalo Niagara Sales
and Marketing Executives organization; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Linda Koller.
