HONORING Ted's Hot Dogs upon the occasion of its
designation as recipient of the Odysseus Award by
AAF Buffalo

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to take note of
and publicly recognize those businesses within the State of New York
which have positively impacted their communities; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Ted's Hot Dogs upon the occasion of its designation as recipient of the
Odysseus Award by AAF Buffalo; and

WHEREAS, Each year, AAF Buffalo recognizes deserving individuals and
departments who have made an impact on Western New York's advertising
community through a handful of special awards; these awards are given
out in conjunction with the American Advertising Awards; and

WHEREAS, AAF Buffalo supports and connects communications
professionals in Western New York; it strives to bridge the gaps between
passions, occupations and experience levels to create a single unified
community that provides national industry involvement with a local
focus; and

WHEREAS, The Odysseus Award honors a client in the Western New York
market with a record of implementing strategic marketing and advertising
in an extraordinary way; and

WHEREAS, Ted's Hot Dogs was honored with the Odysseus Award for its
continual contribution to the economy of Buffalo, New York; and

WHEREAS, Small businesses such as Ted's Hot Dogs exert a strong,
positive influence on the communities they serve and are a crucial
element in the economy of New York State; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to honor those
businesses within the State of New York which distinguish themselves
through outstanding professional behavior, corporate innovation, and
enduring commitment to the community; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Ted's Hot Dogs upon the occasion of its designation as recipient
of the Odysseus Award by AAF Buffalo; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Ted's Hot Dogs.
