HONORING Sam Tato upon the occasion of his
designation as recipient of the Future Star Award by
AAF Buffalo

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that individuals
who distinguish themselves in their profession, dedicating themselves to
its enhancement and leading it in new directions, are an asset beyond
remuneration and cannot be sufficiently extolled; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Sam Tato upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of the Future
Star Award by AAF Buffalo; and

WHEREAS, Each year, AAF Buffalo recognizes deserving individuals and
departments who have made an impact on Western New York's advertising
community through a handful of special awards; these awards are given
out in conjunction with the American Advertising Awards; and

WHEREAS, AAF Buffalo supports and connects communications
professionals in Western New York; it strives to bridge the gaps between
passions, occupations and experience levels to create a single unified
community that provides national industry involvement with a local
focus; and

WHEREAS, The Future Star Award honors an outstanding young
professional in the marketing and advertising field who has five years
or less in the marketing and advertising field and have been an AAF
Buffalo member for at least one year; and

WHEREAS, Sam Tato was honored with the Future Star Award for
demonstrating great potential in his early years in the industry; and

WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an
individual for the benefit of others which Sam Tato has displayed
throughout his career and life; and

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Sam Tato upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of the
Future Star Award by AAF Buffalo; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Sam Tato.
