COMMEMORATING the 90th Anniversary of the
Organization of Triangles, Inc.

WHEREAS, The State of New York takes great pride in acknowledging
significant milestones in the distinguished histories of its esteemed
entities; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to commemorate the
90th Anniversary of the Organization of Triangles, Inc., to be
celebrated during its Biennial Convention in October of 2017; and

WHEREAS, The Organization of Triangles, Inc., established in 1927,
is a Masonic youth organization for young ladies between the ages of 10
and 21; and

WHEREAS, The Organization of Triangles, Inc. is centered around an
individual's duty to God, to others, and to themselves; and

WHEREAS, Members of this vital organization are extremely committed
to community service, assisting such organizations as St. Jude's
Children's Hospital, Save the Children, Guide-Dog Foundation for the
Blind, and Make-a-Wish Foundation; and

WHEREAS, Triangles also enjoy the camaraderie of enjoyable social
activities such as dances, sleepovers, trips, and sporting events; and

WHEREAS, With chapters throughout New York State, the Organization
of Triangles, Inc. has had a profound impact and positive effect on its
members and adult volunteers; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 90th Anniversary of the Organization of Triangles, Inc.;
and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to the Organization of Triangles, Inc.
