HONORING Foxprowl Collectibles of Batavia, New
York, upon the occasion of its designation as
recipient of the 2016 Entrepreneurial Business of
the Year Award by the Genesee County Chamber of
Commerce on March 4, 2017

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize that
the quality and character of life in the communities across New York
State are enhanced by the concerned and dedicated efforts of business
organizations and individuals that generously contribute to the welfare
of the community and its citizenry; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Foxprowl Collectibles of Batavia, New York, upon the occasion of its
designation as recipient of the 2016 Entrepreneurial Business of the
Year Award by the Genesee County Chamber of Commerce to be celebrated on
Saturday, March 4, 2017, at the Quality Inn and Suites in Batvia, New
York; and

WHEREAS, Foxprowl Collectibles is receiving this auspicious award
for its continued growth and commitment to Genesee County; and

WHEREAS, For the past 7 years, Foxprowl Collectibles has been
actively serving its community; in October of 2016, they hosted a
lecture at the Holland Land office; and

WHEREAS, Small business owners exemplify the entrepreneurial spirit
which has fueled our State and Nation since their founding; and

WHEREAS, Adding to the local community, their events, such as
Foxprowl Con, has brought people to Batavia from other regions of New
York, such as Buffalo and Rochester, the last two years; and

WHEREAS, Businesses such as Foxprowl Collectibles exert a strong,
positive influence on the communities they serve and are a crucial
element on the economy of New York state; and

WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body
acknowledges this exceptional business and its contributions to the
local and State economies, fully confident that it will continue to
enjoy the sparkling successes it has experienced thus far; now,
therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Foxprowl Collectibles of Batavia, New York, upon the occasion of
its designation as recipient of the 2016 Entrepreneurial Business of the
Year Award by the Genesee County Chamber of Commerce; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Bill and Joy Hume, Foxprowl Collectibles.
