established in 40 years ago, and is located at 716 Hawley Avenue, in
Syracuse, New York; and
WHEREAS, In 1978, the North East Hawley Development Association

adjoining Syracuse Northeast Community Center; and
WHEREAS, This partnership between the Syracuse Northeast Community
Center and Dr. Weeks Elementary School was a unique concept and was the
first of its kind in New York State; and

organizations of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our
attention, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens
of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
