Senate Resolution No. 4546

HONORING Gary Grund upon the occasion of his
designation for special recognition by the Sullivan
County Democrat 2018 Men at Work Edition

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve
the best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration
and cannot be sufficiently extolled; and

WHEREAS, Gary Grund has given not only of his time and energies but
also of his competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently has
been designated for special recognition; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Gary Grund
upon the occasion of his designation for special recognition by the
Sullivan County Democrat 2018 Men at Work Edition; and

WHEREAS, A resident of Ferndale, New York, Gary Grund earned his
Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Management and Economics; and

WHEREAS, For five years, Gary Grund has worked in the banking
industry; he was employed with Key Bank before joining the staff at Jeff
Bank, where he currently serves as a Credit Analyst; in this capacity,
he assesses the credit worthiness of businesses and individuals who
apply for commercial loans with the bank; and

WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his professional and
community service, a period of constructive involvement, Gary Grund has
stood constant in dignity, good grace and humor; and

WHEREAS, When he is not working, Gary Grund enjoys playing music,
and spending time with his wife and their dog Peppy, especially while on
vacation on Cape Cod; and

WHEREAS, With him throughout have been his wife, Jessica, his
father, Alvin, and his two brothers, Jay and Art, all of whom have shown
him love and support and rejoice in his many achievements; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Gary Grund upon the occasion of his designation for special
recognition by the Sullivan County Democrat 2018 Men at Work Edition;
and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Gary Grund.
