HONORING Flexovit USA Inc. upon the occasion of
its designation as recipient of the General
Excellence Award by Buffalo Business First on May
15, 2018

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those businesses which substantially contribute to the
economic vitality of their communities and the entire Empire State; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, it is the sense of this Legislative Body to
honor Flexovit USA Inc. upon the occasion of its designation as
recipient of the General Excellence Award by Buffalo Business First to
be celebrated at its 2018 Manufacturing Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, May
15, 2018, at Salvatore's Italian Gardens in Depew, New York; and

WHEREAS, Founded in Angola, New York, by Jay Iliohan, Flexovit USA
Inc. diligently works to manufacture abrasive products in Western New
York that deliver the highest value to users in industrial, welding, and
construction trades; and

WHEREAS, For 40 years, Flexovit USA Inc. has consistently reduced
costs and increased performance for its customers by offering
high-quality products backed by expert technical support and service;
and

WHEREAS, The success of Flexovit USA Inc. is in direct correlation
to the efforts of its staff, whose involvement is, and always has been,
characterized by an impressive commitment, an unbridled enthusiasm, and
an uncompromising standard of excellence in all endeavors on behalf of
the institution and the community it serves; and

WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body
acknowledges this exceptional business and its contributions to the
local and State economies, fully confident it will continue to enjoy the
sparkling successes it has experienced thus far; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Flexovit USA Inc. upon the occasion of its designation as
recipient of the General Excellence Award by Buffalo Business First on
May 15, 2018; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Flexovit USA Inc.
