HONORING Regina Fron upon the occasion of her
designation as recipient of the Robert Swift
Volunteer Service to Youth Award by the Town of
Tonawanda Youth Board on May 10, 2018

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to call attention
to the dedicated efforts of those individuals from across the State of
New York who volunteer their time and energies in service to the
community; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Regina Fron upon the occasion of her designation as recipient of the
Robert Swift Volunteer Service to Youth Award by the Town of Tonawanda
Youth Board, to be celebrated at its 41st Annual Awards Dinner on
Thursday, May 10, 2018; and

WHEREAS, A resident of Kenmore, New York, Regina Fron is receiving
this prestigious award for her unwavering dedication to students as an
active volunteer with Kenmore West High School Booster Clubs; and

WHEREAS, Volunteerism is an essential element of all societies; it
provides a way in which the human values of community, caring and
serving can be sustained and strengthened; and

WHEREAS, Volunteerism promotes family and community solidarity; most
importantly, people who volunteer their time in civic and charitable
endeavors inspire others to the call of volunteerism; and

WHEREAS, Service to community and country is the foundation of our
society, and the contributions and future efforts of those in service to
them are a vital part of, and valuable asset to, the fabric of our
communities; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Regina Fron upon the occasion of her designation as recipient of
the Robert Swift Volunteer Service to Youth Award by the Town of
Tonawanda Youth Board on May 10, 2018; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Regina Fron.
