CELEBRATING the life of Sebastian Alfredo Bradley,
a brave little boy who touched the lives of everyone
he met
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is deeply moved to inscribe upon its
record this remembrance of Sebastian Alfredo Bradley, a young boy with a
genuine smile and giving spirit who made a lasting impression on so many
people; and
WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to celebrate the
life of 10 year-old Sebastian Alfredo Bradley of Williamsville, New
York, who gained his angel wings on Friday, May 18, 2018; and
WHEREAS, Born on May 13, 2008, in Williamsville, his life's purpose
was simple, to help suffering children like himself and to make people
feel loved; diagnosed with brain cancer in 2016, Sebastian tenaciously
battled through many surgeries and through it all, showed astounding
strength and fearless courage; and
WHEREAS, While Sebastian was undergoing chemotherapy, something that
brought him comfort was playing with Legos; and
WHEREAS, His love for Legos led to the creation of "Sebastian's Lego
Club," an organization that donates Legos to children at Oishei
Children's Hospital; and
WHEREAS, Sebastian was a student at Forest Elementary School and his
favorite color was orange; and
WHEREAS, Sebastian Alfredo Bradley is survived by his parents, Shane
S. and Elizabeth A. Altamirano; his sister, Maiah Bradley; and his
grandparents, Dana and Patricia Bradley, and Manuel and Judith Amaya de
Altamirano; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, classmates, teachers
and friends; and
WHEREAS, Sebastian Alfredo Bradley, a little boy of incredible
spirit and enthusiasm, had a loving personality and a genuine care and
concern for others; his memory will truly remain in the hearts of all
those who had the privilege of knowing him; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
celebrate the life of Sebastian Alfredo Bradley, and to express its
deepest condolences to his family; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to the family of Sebastian Alfredo Bradley.
