COMMENDING Mary Grace Conneely, Esq. upon the
occasion of her retirement after 21 years of
distinguished service to the New York State Unified
Court System

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to acknowledge the
significant milestones in the distinguished careers of esteemed
residents of this noble Empire State; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend Mary Grace Conneely, Esq. upon the occasion of her retirement
after 21 years of distinguished service to the New York State Unified
Court System on Friday, December 30, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Mary Grace Conneely, Esq. worked in private practice before
starting her distinguished career in the court system; and

WHEREAS, In her capacity as Principal Law Clerk to Judge and
Principal Court Attorney to Judges Anthony Kane, Nicholas Clemente,
Robert Sackett, and most recently Michael P. McGuire, Sullivan County
Court Judge and Surrogate, Mary Grace Conneely, Esq. served with
loyalty, honor and distinction, and was governed by a keen sense of
duty; and

WHEREAS, Upon her last day in the courtroom, Mary Grace Conneely,
Esq. was presented with a certificate of appreciation by the Sullivan
County Bar Association for her scholarly contributions to the local
practice of law; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Mary Grace Conneely, Esq., and to wish her continued success in
all her future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Mary Grace Conneely, Esq.
