CONGRATULATING Marie Leisenring upon the occasion
of her retirement after many years of dedicated
public service to Wayne County
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
congratulate Marie Leisenring upon the occasion of her retirement after
many years of dedicated public service to Wayne County; and
WHEREAS, Marie Leisenring served Wayne County with loyalty, honor
and distinction, and was governed by a keen sense of duty and always
showed a unique grasp of human problems in her official acts; and
WHEREAS, A lifelong resident of Wayne County, Marie Leisenring has
been an integral part of both the Wayne Economic Development Corporation
and Wayne County Industrial Development Agency for 43 years; and
WHEREAS, Throughout her illustrious career, Marie Leisenring has
always maintained the highest level of professionalism and
confidentiality; her invaluable input has been a true asset to Wayne
County; and
WHEREAS, As Office Manager of both the Wayne Economic Development
Corporation and Wayne County Industrial Development Agency, Marie
Leisenring has assisted with projects, outreach, tours and visits; and
WHEREAS, Furthermore, she has shown both respect and kindness to
anyone doing business with the office; the service she provides is
exemplary and truly a model to follow; and
WHEREAS, With her throughout have been her husband, Don, and their
two children, who have all shown her love and support and rejoice in her
many achievements; and
WHEREAS, For many years, Marie Leisenring rendered faithful,
conscientious and valuable service to Wayne County, earning the
admiration, esteem and affection of her colleagues; and
WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the occurrence of such a compassionate
blending of strength, leadership, intellect, and commitment as that
demonstrated by Marie Leisenring over a lifetime of sacrifice and
dedication to others; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate Marie Leisenring upon the occasion of her retirement after
many years of dedicated public service to Wayne County; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Marie Leisenring.
